Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using HeirTaj.

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using HeirTaj ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. HeirTaj reserves the right to update these terms at any time, with notice provided via email or in-app notification.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the UAE to create an account and use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify HeirTaj immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. HeirTaj is not liable for losses arising from unauthorised account access that results from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
4. Buying and selling
HeirTaj is a peer-to-peer marketplace. When you purchase an item, you enter into a direct agreement with the seller. HeirTaj facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the sale contract. Sellers are responsible for accurate descriptions, fair pricing, and timely dispatch. Buyers are responsible for payment and providing accurate delivery information.
5. Prohibited items
The following items may not be listed on HeirTaj: counterfeit or infringing goods, weapons and controlled items, hazardous materials, live animals, items prohibited under UAE law, and any item explicitly prohibited in our Community Guidelines. Listings in violation will be removed and accounts may be suspended.
6. Fees and payments
Listing and selling on HeirTaj is free for sellers. Buyers pay a Buyer Protection fee of 3%–5% on each completed transaction. This fee covers secure payment processing and buyer protection coverage. All prices are displayed in UAE Dirham (AED). Payments are processed securely by our payment partners.
7. Buyer protection
HeirTaj Buyer Protection applies to all eligible transactions and is funded by the Buyer Protection fee paid at checkout. If an item does not arrive or is materially different from the listing description, you may be entitled to a full refund. Claims must be raised within 3 days of confirmed delivery. HeirTaj's decision on disputes is final.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform — including design, logos, and software — is owned by HeirTaj or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without express written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, HeirTaj is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from transactions between users. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the transaction value of the relevant order.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
